To have a Web Log (Blog) here on the internet, one must be anchored in reality.

Reality of a Web Log: Few, maybe 5% of your followers, will visit your Web Log each and every single day.

As a result, many of your followers will run across “new to them” information that is actually a week or two “old and in the past”.

However, some of your very loyal followers will react to the contents of an old Post.

This recently happened on Patti’s August 28th birthday. 

Day before yesterday, our front door buzzer rang.

I answered the door and a beautiful bouquet of flowers celebrating Patti’s Birthday was handed to me by a local Floral Delivery Service.

Jim and Claudia had sent Patti the below beautiful bouquet of Happy Birthday Flowers!!

We immediately called Jim and Claudia and, thanking them, sent them the above three photos.

I have now returned to our Post dated AUG 28, 25..

BOOKS.. 

Hello NATIONAL TODAY.

Patti, “Our Patti”, loves to curl up and read maybe three books each and every single week of the year.

You should see her “book list”. It is several letter sized pages plus a multitude of smaller scraps of paper with author names and titles paper clipped together in random “clumps”. Interesting and amusing!!

She does check books off as she reads them, hoping she won’t end up back home with a book she realizes she has already read, but once in awhile, that happens!! If a book sometimes seems familiar, she turns to the ending to check herself to see if it really does seem to be a re-visitor!!

National Read a Book Day on September 6 calls all book lovers to indulge in their favorite hobby. Bringing new worlds to life, books enlighten us and transport us on exciting adventures.

National Read a Book Day encourages us to silence the noise and turn the pages for a while.

81% of us don’t feel we spend as much time reading as we would like.
