SEP 8, 15.. LITERACY (BOOKS) DAY.. PARDON DAY..
This Post is thanks 100% to our Ally Ginny down in Laughlin, Nevada.
Thank You So Very Much Ginny!
I’d say 90% of the time, I am able to snap photos and screen shots with my smart phones and then successfully forward them from one of my smart phones to one of my own email addresses.
Then, from my email address, I can download them into my library here on dotnet and Voila! Publish them.
Tonight I spent 45 minutes totally unable to accomplish the above process.
Solution: I text the photos to Ginny’s phone. Then Ginny emails them to one of my email addresses and “I am in business.”
This is why dotnet is a WE , all of us, undertaking. Not just a Cap and Patti undertaking.

From National Today here we go!
Yet STILL another “Book” oriented holiday.
This is the third consecutive NATIONAL TODAY Book Holiday in the past three days. And the fourth beginning AUGUST 9th.
INTERNATIONAL LITERACY DAY..

International Literacy Day takes place on September 8 every year.
International Literacy day is an attempt to raise awareness and concern for literacy problems that exist within our own local communities as well as globally.
International Literacy Day was founded by proclamation of The United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization, or UNESCO, in 1966 “to remind the public of the importance of literacy as a matter of dignity and human rights.”
There is much more shown at the NATIONAL TODAY website below.
https://nationaltoday.com/international-literacy-day/

There are thought to be more than 750 million adults around the world who cannot read. The scourge of Illiteracy spares no nation or culture on earth, including the United States, where an estimated 32 million American adults are illiterate.

PARDON DAY..

To Pardon someone fits right in with Friends, Friendship, Love and Forgiveness, all topics we’ve discussed here on dotnet!
Pardon Day is celebrated on September 8.
Unfortunately, Relationships can become sour from time to time. Grudges are formed, allegiances are broken. Sad to say, this seems to be an inevitable occurrence.
Below is a link to the NATIONAL TODAY Holiday about Pardon.
