Hello NATIONAL TODAY..
National Nut Day is celebrated annually on October 22.
The day is devoted to all things nut-related including recipes and cooking tips.
Guess? IF you can! What Patti and I buy by the bag at our local Costco Store!
Costco’s, Kirkland brand, Salted Mixed Nuts. Once lately I “slipped” and mistakenly bought the UNsalted Mixed Nuts. Never again do I plan to make this mistake!
I eat almonds daily, morning and night meals. Patti often “snacks” on mixed nut assortments.
According to the Nutcracker Museum, nuts were a regular part of the human diet from as far back as 800,000 years ago!
No matter what you eat today; include a healthy helping of nuts. They have lots of health benefits and (this tickled Patti and me) they make you happy!!

Reminds me of the “Almond Joy” jingle … sometimes you feel like a nut, sometimes you don’t 🤣 happy snacking … have a joyful day!

What is the time-honored refrain: You are what you eat? I also go ‘nut’s’ over nuts! I own it! Great food for energy and good health! And when one thinks about it….what kind of world would this be if one day we all went to the ballpark and the hard-working/hawking sales folks, those peanut vendors no longer shouted their joy…..’Peanuts! Who wants peanuts? PEANUTS HERE!’
Then again, there’s always hot dogs! lol
