NOV 24.. A VERY BOTHERSOME SENIOR MOMENT.. CELEBRATE YOUR TALENT.. D. B. COOPER..

A VERY BOTHERSOME SENIOR MOMENT..

I have three (3) active Smart Phones and Patti has one (1). Fairly often I also use Patti’s Smart Phone.

I can’t emphasize enough how valuable they are to me, as well as to Patti.

Get It? Got It? Good!

The other day..

I will never know exactly what I did..

I accidently, mistakenly, totally inadvertently deleted 100% of several hundred photos, all of my screen shots, and another 100% of a hefty number of downloaded images (photos and images sent to us by others) on one of my Smart Phones.

Gone. Lost forever.

And I haven’t a “Clue In A Carload” what I did.

A VERY BOTHERSOME SENIOR MOMENT..

And now the famous D.B. Cooper mystery that dates back to November the 24th 1971.

I certainly remember this incident.

D. B. COOPER DAY..

D. B. Cooper Day is dedicated to what remains one of the most famous mysteries of all time.

In 1971, a suited man named Dan Cooper hijacked a plane going from Portland to Seattle.

When the plane landed in Seattle, 36 passengers were evacuated. He demanded $200,000 in $20 bills and two parachutes.

His demands were fulfilled.

He ordered the crew to fly the aircraft to Mexico City, going under 10,000 feet at a speed slower than 200 knots.

En route south, in the dark of night, he parachuted over what is believed to be Ariel, Washington.

D. B. Cooper was never found, dead or alive.

On D. B. Cooper Day, Ariel, Washington, hosts a festival celebrating the events surrounding the skyjacking, the investigation, and the ensuing mystery.

2025 marks the 54th anniversary of the mystery, and the fierce debate continues.

The name Dan Cooper aka D. B. Cooper was later found to be an alias.

Fascinating. Absolutely positively fascinating.

The National Football League (NFL)

Yesterday, Sunday the 23rd of November, for the very first time this entire season, on week 12 of the 18 week NFL season, Patti and I watched the final seven minutes and the overtime period of the game between the Indianapolis Colts vs the Kansas City Chiefs.

We may, and we very well may not, tune in again until the Playoffs begin.

For one thing, many of the advertisements are too long, gross, loud and bothersome for us. For another, we don’t want a sports outcome affecting how we feel.

  1. Gullible

As for the NFL games, which I know you love, I watched the entire Seahawks game, and parts of others on Sunday. I can’t name a single advertiser or recall a single commercial.

Au Contraire for us Gullible.. It seemed like we were bombarded with commercials and NOISE and VIOLENCE. You seem to be able to quite successfully “tune them out”. We were watching a closely contested game that went into overtime so the advertisers knew they had a “captive audience”. Cap and Patti
