National Cuddle Day falls on January 6.
It falls on January the 6th for a very important reason. Since January has some of the coldest temperatures of the year, it’s a great excuse to warm up by cuddling with those closest to you! Plus, if you’ve got a fireplace and cozy blankets, it’s even better.

NFL Playoffs
Beginning next Saturday, January the 10th, the NFL Playoffs begin. We may, we may not, watch all or even any of the NFL Playoffs BUT we certainly will be following them.
Below are the teams in the first round, The Wild Card Round. There will be 6 games.
The NFC..
The AFC..
Wild Card Round Games will be played on Saturday, January 10th, Sunday the 11th and lastly Monday the 12th.
Then, beginning January the 17th and 18th, we will have the Divisional Round.

You know I get lots of cuddles from my cats. As soon as I sit, one of the girls are nosing around. When I was in Modesto, Rocky was the consummate lap cat. Not so much back in Vallejo because he has his living room window seat back. He loves laying on that bench, watching the world go by. The girls prefer the 6 ft cat tree in the bedroom (unless I am sitting down). That looks out on the backyard and the side yard, so they can watch the squirrels come and go and the occasional neighborhood cat. Sometimes both girls try to get on my lap. That gets a little crowded. Frequently one will be on my lap and one will be watching from the cat tree.
Yes Oh Yes Kathleen! We sure know you get lots of cuddles from your cats! Interesting Rocky was your consummate lap cat in Modesto but, “back home”, he has gone back to his “very own” living room window seat! Such fun Kathleen. Thanks so very much for checking in here with us. Cap and Patti
