Patti looked them over at some length and none really “Rang a Bell” for Patti. Library Shelfie Day was of some interest to Patti.
On this day, readers are encouraged to take a selfie of themselves with their most beloved library shelf showcasing the books that stand out for them.
However, the first one below is really a “No Brainer” because of its importance to all of us.
Data Privacy Day is celebrated on January the 28th.
Data privacy is rarely at the top of anyone’s daily to-do list.
Most of us give little thought to data privacy until after our personal data has been compromised!!
Our increased reliance on digital technologies to manage every facet of life necessitates the need to rethink what we share about ourselves, when and where we share it, and who we are sharing it with.
Data Security is like putting bars on windows to make it difficult for someone to burglarize your home.
Data Privacy is more like pulling down the window shades so no one can look inside to see what you are wearing, who lives with you, what you are cooking for dinner tonight, or what movie you are watching.
Data Privacy Day reminds us to treat personal information like money. It has value and we need to protect it as if our lives depended on it because sometimes they do.
Today, there is no consensus on who is responsible for data privacy. While some agree that protecting personal data is the responsibility of individuals, others think businesses and governments are in control of this complex issue.

I myself am extremely interested in “Plugins”.
What on earth is a “Plugin”?
A “Plugin” refers to a software component that adds specific features to a larger program. These modules enhance functionality, such as in web browsers or audio software.
Their goal is to improve a website by making it run faster or having better graphics and other such features.

I have a couple of plug-ins installed on my Adobe photo editing program. The plug-ins are from another manufacturer. One is for denoising photos and the other for sharpening the images.
Sometimes the initial software can do the same thing; sometimes the plug-ins do it better.
By the way, my Topaz plug-ins are not physical things that I insert into a computer port. They are software I downloaded.
Yes certainly Gullible. Over all, in general, Plugins are software that is downloaded. Yes some are physical but in my mind they are software. Cap
Wow! Too Too Too bad we can’t down load some good Plugins into our Google Blogspot websites to make some things far easier to successfully navigate and change. But I do understand why Google doesn’t want this. Cap
