Here comes a little fun!
International Tongue Twister Contest Day is celebrated on the last Saturday of February every year.
The day commemorates the annual International Tongue Twister Contest held at Logic Puzzle Museum in Burlington, Wisconsin.
It is open to participants between the ages of six and 106 years of age. Prizes include wonderful objects from beloved tongue twisters like ‘a peck of pickled peppers.’
The term ‘tongue twister’ was first coined in 1895. A considerable portion of tongue twisters rely on alternating similar but distinct phonemes to create the difficulty in articulation. Some use alliteration and rhymes, others use compound words and their corresponding stems, whilst some are words or short phrases that become tongue twisters when spoken repeatedly. Some tongue twisters are used by non-native speakers to pronounce words properly.

“Peter Piper picked a peck of pickled peppers. A peck of pickled peppers Peter Piper picked.”
Some easier tongue twisters include “She sees cheese” and “He threw three balls.”
“Pad kid poured curd pulled cod,”

Cap and Patti
Today? Saturday the 28th of February! It will be very busy day.
Tomorrow, Sunday, March 1st, Patti and I will drive to Phoenix, Arizona, for medical appointments at the Mayo Clinic beginning at 7am next Monday.
Patti will have an endoscopy beginning at 6:15am Wednesday.
If all goes well, we will return to Lake Havasu City next Thursday.

I am a true chocoholic, chocolate addict. But somehow, in all my years, I’ve never had a chocolate souffle. It never occurred to me to try to make one because I’m not that talented in the kitchen. I feel like I need to remedy this situation. *Puts on thinking cap.* I will let you know if I manage to acquire some.
