MAR 23, 26.. HELLO MARCH the 23rd.. A VERY SPECIAL DAY.. NATIONAL TODAY..
HELLO MARCH the 23rd.. A VERY SPECIAL DAY..
Huh Captain? What on this good earth could be so special about March the 23rd?
Two Years ago today, it was a Saturday, March the 23rd, 2024, I first discovered the NATIONAL TODAY website!
Patti and I cannot believe that, for two full years, we have been using NATIONAL TODAY Holidays.
For better or for worse (some of you like our NATIONAL TODAY Holidays and some of you don’t seem to) because we no longer travel much, it has been a big help for us to keep our website up and going.
A big THANK YOU SO VERY MUCH NATIONAL TODAY.
Cap and Patti

Patti and I are loving these upbeat and positive NATIONAL TODAY Holidays.
Oops! ‘OK’ Day is not exactly what we thought it would be! We thought he was celebrating his being ‘OK’.
No! ‘OK’ Day is about recognizing the worth of this evergreen noun/verb/adjective/adverb/interjection, which is so popular, that ‘OK’transcended the world language barriers a long time ago.

‘OK’ Day is a global event celebrated on March 23 each year.
The humble ‘OK’ gets its chance to shine on OK Day!
On this day, the world is paying homage to what is possibly its most-used word.
We can’t say for sure when this word originated. A number of historians believe ‘OK’ became a part of the English language largely due to an editing prank, while there are some who think it might have come from a clever political campaign slogan.
What we do know is that ‘OK’ first appeared in print when an enterprising editor from the Boston Morning Post took a satirical jab at his counterpart.
Then, ‘OK’ was suddenly a part of the American language, although it hadn’t quite reached uber-popular status yet.

Well Hello Bo!

Bo, you were the inspiration for this next NATIONAL TODAY Holiday!

March 23 is National Puppy Day.
Prepare yourselves for an overdose of cuteness.

Established in 2006, National Puppy Day is a paw-some day for all dog enthusiasts to celebrate unconditional love and fawn over the undeniably cute furballs that bring so much happiness into this world.
When it comes to our four-legged friends, today is also designed to raise awareness about puppy mills and help prospective pet owners consider adoption.

CHIPS and DIP..
An all time favorite for Patti and me.

National Chip and Dip Day is celebrated annually on March 23.
Who doesn’t love a tasty chip-and-dip combo? It would be tough to find that person in the U.S. since 284 million Americans consumed their favorite combo.
Recently in Phoenix we enjoyed some.

Nachos as well..

Awe, thank you for posting Bo, and Tim too! Bo has been home nearly a month and is 14 weeks old. He fit right in, and did we luck out. He, being a mini aussie like our Buck who passed last year, we are both convinced Buck is in this little guy. His mannerisms, like hiding his bones in the yard, are exactly the way Buck would. Bo absolutely adores the donkeys, and each day when Tim takes Love on a run with the quad, Bo stays behind laying with the donkeys in or around their 3 sided shed. I imagine it will be the same when the horses and goats move here in a few weeks. All the equine and goats come from the therapy barn, so they are acclimated to having other livestock friends. It is truly a gift to be Bo’s guardian, and we look forward to many years of family love.
Now to arrange for some chips and dip that Tim may like after work today. Yum.
Hugs,
Kit
Kit THANK YOU for sending so many great photos of Bo and you and Tim and the donkeys and more. How fun Bo has some of Bucks character traits Kit. Cap and Patti
