APR 1, 26 (2 / 2).. AN APRIL FOOLS’ DAY STORY..

Our great friend Ginny has a wonderful, absolutely fun, fantastic family April Fools’ Day story that goes back Forty One years (41 years) that she shared with Patti and me in a text message today! It involved her Daughter Samantha (Sam) who was age Five Years (5). 

By the way, both Patti and I know Sam who is also a very loyal Survivor Fan! Each and every Survivor Show we text back and forth with Sam about that day’s Survivor Episode!!

After some thought (maybe one minute) I said to Patti.

“Let’s call Ginny and ask her if she would mind if we shared her April Fools’ Day story here on dotnet.”

Ginny said “Sure Cap and Patti!!”

Then we said to Ginny..

“We can make it 100% totally anonymous using neutral names etc.”

Ginny said, “I have no problem with you using our family names Cap and Patti.”

Thanks so very much Ginny. Here we go!!

When my daughter Sam was five years old, and I picked her up from daycare, Sam looked at me so seriously and said, “MOM, YOU HAVE A PINK ELEPHANT ON YOUR HEAD!” 

My reply, “Oh No, Oh No, he’s so heavy get him off!”

Then Sam said.. “April Fools’ Mommy!”

This is the Forty First Year of Sam and me seeing who would tell the other they had a Pink Elephant on their head, and we send sweet emojis of Pink Elephants and hearts to each other!!
