APRIL FOOLS’ DAY..
Was the top, the first, the Number One, NATIONAL TODAY Holiday for today..

April Fools’ Day is on April 1.
Why do we do this, and where did it start? There isn’t a concrete conclusion by historians.
Thousands of videos on the most popular internet sites emerge, not just on April Fool’s Day, but everyday, pushing the pranking limit to sometimes dangerous territories. We do NOT condone this and below we’ll illustrate how to allow this holiday to remain true to what it was meant to be, safe, and hilarious!
We will now turn it over to you..

I don’t like to say this, but in light of Patti’s terrible fall on February the 2nd, tying someone’s shoe laces, hoping they will fall, is NOT FUNNY !!

NATIONAL FUN DAY..

National Fun Day, IS celebrated on April 1 every year.
National Fun Day is closely related to April Fool’s Day.
National Fun Day aims to give everybody the chance to relax, get a little silly, and break away from school and work routines to help us remember what a peaceful and fun adventure that life can be. This is crucial because, in today’s high-speed and fast-moving world, the constant pressure to get more done and to go farther can suck away the very little joy we have in our lives. National Fun Day is a reminder to have fun, regardless.

NATIONAL GREETING CARD DAY..

National Greeting Card Day is celebrated every year on April 1.
We can’t wait to send a greeting card in honor of today. Greeting cards are a sweet and thoughtful way to let your loved ones know that you’re thinking about them.
The custom of giving greeting cards dates back centuries. It began with the ancient Chinese, who would exchange messages of goodwill for the New Year. Early Egyptians exchanged greetings on papyrus scrolls, and soon after, handmade paper greeting cards were traded in Europe. The Germans were the first to print New Year’s greeting cards on woodcuts. By the mid-15th century, Europeans were also exchanging Valentine’s Day greeting cards
In the United States, approximately 6.5 billion greeting cards are bought each year.

A few personal notes.
Today, on April Fools’ Day, at 1;30pm, I have an eye injection for my Macular Degeneration.
My last Macular Degeneration Eye Injection was on Friday the 13th and it turned out just fine. That is, fine for an eye injection!
Then this evening we have our weekly Putt’n Sober Meeting from 5:30pm to 6:30pm, followed in 30 minutes by Survivor 50 Episode 6 at 7pm.
I wish last February the 13th, when today’s eye injection was scheduled, I had made it for another day not Wednesday!!
Call that just another Senior (non thinking) Moment.
