Yesterday’s April Fools’ Day news.
WET MACULAR DEGENERATION OF MY LEFT EYE ..
Yesterday, on April Fools’ Day, I had my 14th Wet Macular Degeneration eye injection. Not one of these eye injections is fun.
Let me tell all of you! Whatever is hurting or bothering you physically is, at the time, an area of your body where you don’t appreciate having issues.
At this point in my life, I would much prefer to have something OTHER THAN MY EYES giving me challenges.
Let.. Me.. Tell.. You.. When your Doctor is inserting needles into your eyes you MUST really have trust in him (or her)!!
One time I said to him.. “You are the greatest!!” He replied smiling.. “Tell that to my children!!”
I have been seeing my eye doctor here in Lake Havasu City, Arizona, since March the 8th, 2024, with my first ever eye injection on March the 9th, 2024. So I have been seeing him for just over two (2) years.
If you are really lucky, and you work hard at doing so, you can “build a relationship with a Doctor!” I have managed to build this relationship with my phenomenal, former Mayo Clinic, eye doctor here.
So after my Doctor was finished yesterday, as he began to leave the room, I said to him.. “Here is today’s weird question!!”
He turned, and smiled, and said to me.. “What would that be?”
“Doctor could I have a photo of you?”
Turning around and facing me, with a broad grin he said.. “Sure you can! How about we two do a group photo Cap?”

I enjoyed reading today’s post, Cap and Aunt Patti. I can also relate to how good it feels to have a doctor you know and trust. And for a shot in the eye, you definitely want that! Sending love and hugs to you both!
