APR 21, 26.. LIBRARIES.. WINTER REMAINS..
Yes! I am “Dead Tired” BUT I could NOT “Pass up” the below NATIONAL TODAY Holiday.
Oh My, Oh My, How Patti loves her libraries!
According to historians, the birth of libraries marked the end of prehistory and the start of history.
There are currently over 110,000 libraries spread across the United States.

THANK YOU FOR LIBRARIES DAY ..
Thank You For Libraries Day is celebrated annually on April 21.
Libraries are a collection of materials, books, or media that are accessible by the public. Libraries are a repository of knowledge, providing opportunities for learning and supporting literacy and education.
The first systematically organized library in the world dates back to the 7th century B.C. !!

WINTER IS STILL HANGING AROUND..
Yes! I know! You all realize that we still have a fair amount of snow on the ground and probably don’t want to see more photos!
But it is our reality. Yesterday, Monday the 20th, yes it was light but, we had more snow.

These two photos show the snow that was plowed, and stored, over the winter in our back parking area.

Yesterday I had a lot, and I mean a L O T, of errands to take care of. With it snowing lightly, out I went without a down jacket or any head covering. I was getting wet and kept saying to myself as I was in and out of our truck.. “Dog gone it! It really is Ccccold!”
The screen shot below is NOT the same one I have shown before.

All, and I mean A L L of the locals were “Dressed for the Cold!” But not I your Captain!
When I got home I told Patti.. “Duh! How dumb is it, when all of the locals are bundled up, for me to go out without dressing for the wet and the cold!”
