Beautiful tulips 🌷, my sister and I would have a yearly date to White Chapel Cemetery in Troy Michigan to see their amazing rows and rows of beautiful tulips and take pictures it was a truly special “sister date” that we enjoyed til I moved to the desert, but still enjoying them through her pictures. Glad you enjoyed them too!
Every year, White Chapel celebrates its Annual Tulip Festival by planting over 50,000 tulips, including new and unique blooms rarely found anywhere else in the world. These rare bulbs have been imported directly from Holland in the Netherlands. Everyone is welcome to visit the park and enjoy this year’s spectacular display.
More to come, I’m sure as the season is early! 🌷

I am not able, for the life of me, to understand how Book Stores are surviving!
With the rise of ebooks, and international shipping, their competition is fierce.
Independent Bookstore Day is celebrated on the last Saturday of April, every year.
The commercial book trade began, over 2,000 years ago.
Over the past few decades, books, once thought of as the foundation of civilization and the source of most of man’s knowledge, have undergone a significant transformation.
Barnes and Noble is the biggest bookstore in America, with 154,250 square feet of retail space and over 12.87 miles of shelving.

Ginny’s tulip photos are stunning! Not a lot of tulips here in South Dakota, but the pastures are blooming with a few dandelions. The alfalfa is coming up, and it has such beautiful little purple flowers. We shall see. My neighbor has bees, and they’ve been searching on warm days. Today we’re getting another snow system, but right now it is 30f degrees and sunny. We’ll take it! Love all the book days, and I will soon take a day to visit my new library in Whitewood. I loved the one in Spearfish. A lot of times I trade books with friends. However I get a hold of books, they are always around me. I love to read, especially with paper between my fingers. Hope you’re starting to feel rested.Stay well. Kit
Yes Kit Ginny’s Tulip photos were certainly nice. Your weather sounds much like ours Kit. Today (Saturday the 25th) was sunny up here but warmer with no snow. The Honey Bees do not particularly like Alfalfa according to Google. Patti was at our library today and came home with four books. No we’re not feeling rested yet Kit. Smiles .. Cap and Patti
