JUN 23, 26.. LET IT GO.. TYPEWRITER.. HYDRATION..
Thank you so very much NATIONAL TODAY for all of your topics. Today we wanted to investigate three of your Holidays.
Emotional Health.. Mental Health..
LET IT GO DAY..
Many people live with the burden of regretful situations that quietly, yet constantly, weigh them down.
To “Let it go” means to stop caring about, holding onto, or being upset by something in the past. It is an idiom used to help release grudges, accept uncontrollable past events, or move past minor offenses in order to find peace and emotional relief.
Acceptance is one answer. Acceptance does NOT mean approval!!
Trust me I know! It is easier said than done!

The above “Feeling Good” is what Let It Go Day is all about!
And it partially begins with ourselves. It is very important to learn to forgive yourself. To stop blaming yourself for something, especially when there is nothing you can do to change what has already happened.
Practical ways to let go include practicing mindfulness and meditation, journaling to process emotions, engaging in forgiveness exercises, and setting healthy boundaries. Seeking support from a therapist or counselor can also provide valuable tools and guidance for emotional release.

Nice Huh?
I personally wish that it was much easier to “Let It Go” than it seems to be!!
I am not alone. Approximately one in five adults in the U.S. lives with a mental illness, often linked to unresolved emotional challenges.

TYPEWRITER DAY..
I have 12 years of basic education (High School Graduate). Then I have six and one half additional years (6-1/2) of University Studies (Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering.)
One Class, only One, stands “Head and Shoulders Above” all of my classes as the One, Best, and Most Useful Class of them all.
HIGH SCHOOL TYPING!!

Christopher Latham Sholes, an American inventor, is widely credited with inventing the first practical typewriter in 1867. Along with his partners, Carlos Glidden and Samuel W. Soule, Sholes developed a machine that could print characters mechanically. His work laid the foundation for the QWERTY keyboard layout, which remains the standard today, revolutionizing personal and business communication.
A traditional typewriter is not used very often any more. BUT the skills (learning the keyboard) from typing translate directly to using the keyboard that I am using this instant as I “Type” this Post !!

Proper HYDRATION is vital to our health!!

How much is enough?
Individual needs vary, but a common recommendation for adults is to drink around eight, 8-ounce glasses of water per day. This totals about two liters. This will fluctuate based on activity level, climate, and overall health.
If you avoid drinking water because you find the taste a little bland, infuse a pitcher of water with mix-ins like lemon wedges, cucumber slices, strawberries, cantaloupe, mint, or other refreshing produce.
We purchase Gatorade Propel by the case from Amazon to infuse our tap water.

Each of the above mini-boxes contains eight sticks of Propel Powder. I put a supply of the sticks into a Mason Jar to dispense them.

Then I will mix up a batch of three, 1 Liter bottles of Propel Infused water.

Then I will add the infused water to six, 1/2 liter bottles, from which I actually drink the Propel Infused Water.

We also drink Gatorade.

We mix our Lemon-Lime Gatorade from Gatorade Powder we buy at Walmart.
