BUT..
After I learned what the word Blog means, and how it developed, I no longer am quite so hostile to the word Blog!
The word Blog is a combination of the words “Internetweb” and “log.”
An Internet Web Log became a Web Log became a Blog!
Blogger Day, is observed every August 5th.
This day recognizes the power of individual expression, information sharing, and community building that blogging fosters.
Blogger, an American online content management system, was established by Pyra Labs on August 23, 1999. It was acquired by Google in 2003. Google hosts the blogs and they are accessed through a subdomain of blogspot.com. Users can also have their very own custom domains.

BLOGS and WEBSITES ..
A Blog is a type of website that features regularly updated content, typically in a chronological, journal-like format, often focusing on specific topics. This accurately describes dotnet!
A Website, on the other hand, is a broader term for any collection of web pages accessible through the internet, which may or may not include a blog section.
