SEP 15, 14 .. WHEEL-CHAIRS AND WHEELED-CHAIRS ..
Here is a very short primer on Wheel-Chairs and Wheeled-Chairs.
Until this past month-or-so .. I thought a Wheel-Chair is a Wheel-Chair is a Wheel-Chair. To my surprise .. I found that this is just NOT SO !
Crocodile Dundee would proudly say .. “The next four photos below are of a real-honest-to-goodness WHEEL-CHAIR!”
You can see the WHEEL is prominent!
And let-me-tell you all .. this Wheel Chair is heavy and bulky and a challenge to move around .. I can not imagine loading it into the rear of our truck.
I think you get a pretty-good-idea of a Wheel-Chair.
All of this-being-said .. even though the above Wheel Chair is pretty large and heavy and bulky .. a few weeks ago I went into BINSON’s .. our local hospital supply store to either rent or to purchase a Wheel Chair. And I had in-mind exactly what you see in the above four photos .. a WHEEL CHAIR!

The young lady asked me why I wanted to rent a Wheel Chair. I told her that Patti needed a wheel chair to move around in and to watch the WOODWARD DREAM CRUISE.
So she brightened up and said .. “You need a TRANSPORTATION CHAIR!”
And just look below at a TRANSPORTATION CHAIR ..
This little-beauty is EXTREMELY light-weight and nimble!
And WOW .. it sure nests-into-our-truck very nicely.
As ‘Zilla would say .. NIFTY !
And we are ready-to-go !
I never-know-who might be reading along here .. and our TRANSPORTATION CHAIR IS A KEEPER ..
