SEP 26, 14 .. ALASKA MICHIGAN .. ARE YOU KIDDING ME ??
A few weeks ago Patti and I visited friends near the City of Grand Rapids on the Western side of the State of Michigan. En-route home from Grand Rapids after lunch .. what to my wondering eyes should appear .. NO! ‘Zilla NOT Santa Claus! .. but a small village named ALASKA.
See? I am not kidding you! Established in 1848 there really is an ALASKA MICHIGAN!
I tried to ‘Google Map’ ALASKA MICHIGAN and I had no luck finding it.
Do you need an even closer look at their NIFTY sign?
One more look at the City Limit sign of ALASKA MICHIGAN.
I am not quite positive that this ‘Village’ actually exists .. but above I present photographic evidence to you supporting the existence of ALASKA MICHIGAN !
When I asked my host to stop for some more photos he said .. “We have gone through it.”
