ALL WERE DARK.. no lights.. the scaffolding is down..
When I was down beside the Hoogly River..the booking office for the trains leaving Calcutta is on Fairlie Place which is also a ferry boat slip for crossing the Hoogly River from Calcutta over to Howrah .. I asked a fair number of people there where the IMMERSION CEREMONIES were being held after dark and all I got was ‘ blank looks ‘ .. I found NO ONE who understood what I was looking for..
