SEP 27, 17 .. MEDICAL STUFF .. CAP AND ‘ZILLA

This is one of my favorite quotes. It originated from Satchel Paige, a famous American baseball pitcher.
I must have inadvertently ‘looked back’.
Yesterday, and now today, my second day on the preparatory-regimen, I am following doctor’s orders to get ready for tomorrow’s colonoscopy. No solid food. No dairy products. Clear (that you can see through) liquids only. Magnesium Citrate. Dulcolax. Miralax mixed into Gatorade. What a drag.
It all goes back to the Abdominal Ultrasound and CT Scans that I had performed in Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia, last August 15th. Far FAR too many comments to simply ignore.
- Left kidney : 4.0cm by 3.4cm lesion. Suspected colon cancer.
I have successfully addressed the above Kidney Tumor issues at the Mayo Clinic. Less than 1% chance of cancer. 12% chance of complications if we performed a biopsy. We are going to wait and see what the prognosis is in 6-months.
Moving forward.
Here is the problem.
My doctor(s) in Mongolia went well past the kidney issue. In their formal report they mentioned:
- A collapsed bowel. Suspecious of colonic segmental marked edematous wall thickening of proximal descending colon with pericolonic fat stranding. Adjacent left sided anterior and lateroconal interfascial retromesenteric plane thickening. Few outpouching like gas in this bowel level, probably diverticulosis could not be excluded.
It went on.
- Mild fatty liver. Mild splenomegaly. Gall stones. Left renal parapelvic cyst and both renal small cysts. Prostate enlargement and heterogeneous enhancement. Pelvic small free fluid.
And yes, there was even more but I am sparing you further details.
Here is the point:
How does one simply ignore all of these other issues? Especially now that I am home in the United States with my own doctors and medical facilities.
The answer is:
I can’t just ignore them all. So hopefully tomorrow’s colonoscopy will address several of these above other issues.

‘Zilla update.
My friend and pal of some 42-years and counting, the one, the only, ‘Zilla’ is in-the-soup.
He was released from the hospital last Sunday the 24th.
On an out-patient basis, he saw his doctor yesterday and..
As of a phone conversation last evening, he is still experiencing internal bleeding.
This is not good news.
Good news or not so good news..
That will be the news for now..
We may just stop medical news completely.
