FEB 5, 20 .. A DAY IN OUR LIVES

THE REAL NEWS HERE

At (long LONG long) last Patti’s chronic cough (dating back to December 16th) seems to be remarkedly improved. She has finished her 5 day regimen of Prednisone Roxane 50mg and continues her (14 day) regimen of Doxycycline Mono 100mg. Here’s hoping this is truly her path to recovery from this terrible challenging coughing.

Yesterday, Tuesday, February the 4th, we drove from Phoenix to Tucson, Arizona. A drive of about an hour and forty five minutes each direction covering one hundred miles (give a little take a little).

We visited Ray and Larry (family). We then visited Melanie. Then we visited Jan and Hermann (the two of them prepared a wonderful dinner / we watched the President’s State of the Union Speech). Then back North to Phoenix we drove getting ‘home’ to our motel at 11:45pm (in the dark of night).

Today I was up early (6am) and into Walmart by 8am (a 35-minute drive North to Scottsdale) to wait several hours as they mounted four new tires on Black Beauty. Then I had to go to the Mayo Clinic to tend to some business. Then back to our motel to get a little rest (read, I collapsed from fatigue and slept several hours). What with moving rooms here at our motel, Super Bowl Sunday, and on and on and on (yesterday’s trip and visits) my stamina flagged.
