APR 14, 13 (2/2) .. A LITTLE SUNDAY CHIT – CHAT ..
Today it is Sunday in Kodaikanal and that means .. MARKET SUNDAY!
Below is the scene right out in front of my Internet Cafe. I did a major Post on Blogspot last Sunday .. 7 April 2013 .. about MARKET SUNDAY.
And home from the market .. here she comes!
And there she goes! BOTH of us with our backs to the traffic! I don’t know her excuse. Mine was that I wanted to get to her side of the street to take advantage of a Photo Opportunity (her).
Now this .. this is just pure and simple .. HARD LABOR!
On her head she is carrying fire wood for a street vendor shown below.
I tried to pick one bundle up and let-me-tell-you they are heavy!
OH INDIA COME ON! YOU CAN DO BETTER THAN THIS!
I saw a lot of room INSIDE the dumpster as I tossed some of my garbage into it .. then as I continued to my bus stop I passed the above mess! How could I possibly turn down this Photo Opportunity!
