MAY 10, 22 .. NO WORD YET ON OUR CABIN IN MANLEY HOT SPRINGS

As of this evening, Monday, May 9th, we have absolutely no idea of the condition of our cabin in Manley Hot Springs.

Yes of course we have friends in Manley, but with the power cut off and (we have heard) no cell / smartphone service, and simply being polite to those friends who may be living in temporary quarters away from their homes, we are not yet in contact with anyone up there on the ground. This evening I did text one of our closest associates who lives very close to our cabin but have heard nothing back knowing full well they may not receive our text until who knows when.

Based upon what we can ascertain from the photos we have seen, we feel that our cabin may fare well because it does not sit upon the ground but on concrete pilings that elevate it several feet off the ground. Only time will tell.
