AUG 21, 22 .. THE PARTY’S OVER .. THE 2022 DETROIT DREAM CRUISE WILL FINISH AT 12 NOON TODAY

The Party’s Over, it’s time to call it a day.
They’ve burst your pretty balloon and taken the moon away.

From The Detroit News : Here we are, now entertain us. So thought 1 million or so souls who descended on Woodward for the 27th Dream Cruise on Saturday, and they weren’t disappointed.

And now, on Dream Cruise Sunday, the curtain will come down right around 12 noon when the local, as well as the Michigan State Police, will supervise the opening up of Woodward Avenue for (call it) normal and routine traffic. 

From all reports (I have scanned the Detroit Dream Cruise news on line) it was a very successful event.

I wish we had more. We don’t and so, because it’s 11:30pm on Saturday evening, it’s time for us to call it a day as well.

Yesterday (Saturday) evening, to top off our day,  Patti and I enjoyed a meal out in Eagle River and then attended a meeting.
