The party’s over

All of the VW Buses are going home today, Sunday the 15th.
Goodbye, Farewell, VW Buses until next year, The Party’s Over !

Saturday, January 14th
The 26th Annual, Lake Havasu City, Buses By The Bridge Festival, was in high gear today.
However, Patti and I have signed up as volunteers for the Lake Havasu City Balloon Festival. I am the actual volunteer. Patti is supporting me so that makes Patti a volunteer along with me.

Sign-in was from 9am until 12noon. At 8:30am, nice and early, Patti and I were at the venue.

Saturday, January 14th
The National Football Playoffs have begun.
After signing-in for the Balloon Festival, Patti and I came back to our apartment and spent the afternoon and evening watching the first two games of the NFL playoffs.
Game 1
Seattle Seahawks at the San Francisco 49ers.
After the first half was over, the Seahawks were shocking the heavily favored (-9.5) 49ers as they were ahead 17 – 16. In the 2nd half, the heavily favored 49ers got serious and blew the Seahawks away winning the game 41 – 23 !
Summary .. The 49ers were the best team.
Game 2
Los Angeles Chargers at the Jacksonville Jaguars.
The slightly favored Los Angles Chargers (-1.5) LEPT OFF to a 27 – 0 lead and I was ready to turn-it-off. As the first half ended Jacksonville scored a touchdown making it a 27 – 7 game. I went into our bedroom and took-a-short-nap. Patti stayed-with-the-game. I returned to the game watching Jacksonville play an amazing 2nd half, winning the game with a last second field goal 31 – 30.
Summary .. The Los Angeles Chargers lost a game they lead by 27 – 0 !
Today, Sunday, January the 15th, Patti and I will again be watching the NFL Playoffs, beginning with the Miami Dolphins going to Buffalo to play the Buffalo Bills (-13.5).
DOES THE SHADOW KNOW ? Will we watch the N.Y. Giants at the Minnesota Vikings (-3). Will we watch the Baltimore Ravens at the Cincinnati Bengals (-9.5). We’ll see IF we are-up-to three games in one day.
