FEB 27, 23 .. GULLLIBLE .. THIS ONE’S .. JUST FOR YOU ..
Gullible, back, way back, on our post DEC 17, 22 ..
Under Comment 2, YOU Gullible “coined a new term” for me .. Taa-Daa .. “Cardboard Furniture”. So I made two new entries on our website here under Categories.
Projects
Cardboard Furniture
In that long-ago-and-far-away Post you were “admiring” my project that you called “Cardboard Furniture”. You were referring to a cardboard box that happened “to fit perfectly” into the open space beside our beds here in Motel 6. I thought he was just a “cardboard box”, but then he turned into a nightstand.
In reality it was kind-of-sort-of a night stand.
Made to fit into the open space beside the real Bedside Table.
And it DID-THE-DEAL Gullible.
I kind-of-sort-of stopped the mess on the Bedside Table.
Then once we were back home in Lake Havasu City “I got to thinking” about my Cardboard Nightstand.
And?
VOILA !
I made some “vast improvements” to it. I basically “re-engineered” my cardboard box. See it on the left below?
I’m calling it my “Cardboard Nightstand”.
Then “I got to thinking” some more and made a vast improvement to my little piece of “Cardboard Furniture”. I added a “top shelf” to it.
Will you just look at the new space I have created?
And some of my items just “Flocked onto it”.
My CPAP machine is sitting “Front and Center” happy as a clam with “His” place.
In the above photos, I removed my pillows so you could more clearly see my project.
In real life it looks like you see below.
Real time is 12:35pm on Monday the 27th.
RIGHT NOW
Patti and I need to “Get Outta Dodge” and head for the Mayo Clinic for me to take a hearing test.
Smiles and Joy to YOU Gullible and to YOU our other followers.
I am into (but nowhere near finished) my 6th consecutive month of posting something here on dotnet each and every single day.

Cap, this is a great post! Applause!
I’ve read all the inscriptions and watched the photos about the EVOLUTION of your “cardboard furniture business” with great interest. Super!
I think that the same “business” is done by counselors in summer youth camps, eh? ☺
Olga we hooted, and we hollered with JOY, as we read your comment! Such fun! Thanks for brightening our day Olga. Oh How We Wish We Could Again Visit You In Person.. Cap and Patti

Cap, to paraphrase an old axiom, your Bobbsies will always expand to exceed available space.
Also, I take it you saved your cardboard furniture and transported it to Lake Havasu and now to Phoenix?
I will admit to you that I check your blog every day to see what in the heck you two are up to now. You tell us your medical appointments, but not the results. Do tell.
Yes indeed, I did take the “becoming infamous” cardboard box back with us to Lake Havasu City and there, reconfigured it so as to make use of it at our apartment. But its main purpose remains to make our rooms at Motel 6 just a tad more organized and thus more comfortable.
Basically I feel we have pretty much mentioned the results of our Mayo appointments. I’ll try to do a short synopsis of them in a future online post. This trip is more about me than Patti. All of Patti’s appointments have been of the “follow up” genre. So there is not a lot to say about them. Again, when I can do a good and thorough job-of-it, I’ll do a synopsis of important medical issues (my left ear issues, my physical exam, my upper endoscopy) for you and other readers who seem to really be interested. Smiles and thanks for your continuing interest. Cap
