MAR 24, 23 .. PRO THERAPY AND MARCH MADNESS

Thursday March the 23rd 2023

Last Thursday, Patti and I attended a seminar on Balance here in Lake Havasu City at PRO THERAPY ..

Today, from 9:30am until 10:30am, Patti and I had an outstanding, one-on-one briefing with the therapist who presented the seminar a week ago. To quote Gullible who recently said : They are very, very simple exercises and you won’t even raise a sweat. Just a couple minutes to do.

I will now “Parrot Gullilble”. The Balance improvement exercises are very, very simple exercises and you won’t even raise a sweat. Just a couple minutes to do.

Now it is up to us to actually DO the exercises.

By The Way, there was absolutely NO CHARGE for our one hour therapy session.

This evening, Patti and myself, along with our great friend Michael, went to dinner together at the Golden Phoenix where we enjoyed Singapore Rice Noodles.

Then we went to Michael’s home to watch the UCLA “Bruins” play the Gonzaga “Zags” in March Madness. Michael’s sweet little dog Little Bit joined us.

The Three Amigos with Little Bit !

The above photo was snapped last Friday on St. Patrick’s Day. Thus all of the green.

GONZAGA vs UCLA

The game ended up a “nail biter”. It was eventually decided “At The Buzzer”. The “Zags” won 79 – 76.

One line from the game summary says it all : At the beginning of the 2nd half, with the “Bruins” leading by 13-points, suddenly the “Bruins” couldn’t make a shot. They missed 11 straight shots and, at one point in the second half, went 11 minutes, 16 seconds without a field goal.

With 6 seconds remaining in the game the “Zags” hit a 3-point shot to take the lead 79 – 76. BUT with 1.1 seconds left, UCLA had a chance as they threw up a 3-point shot attempt from mid-court that hit the basket but did not go in.

What a night to remember! Dinner with some fine friends and sweet Savanah! (our Golden Phoenix waitress!) All of us have become so very fond of each other and she has been a breath of fresh, sweet, springtime air to us! Dinner was par excellence, again! I always leave feeling so over-stuffed and more than satiated with this heaping plate of spicy noodles, shrimp, variety of veggie’s and of course, our fortune cookies at the end! Then the UCLA Bruins vs the Gonzaga Zags. It was a March Madness game that has to be included in the annals of the proverbial ‘Classic’s!’ As we discussed last night, my cherished Bruins couldn’t pull it out at the end and lost…..but they had the last opportunity to tie, the last shot to take the game into Overtime…and alas, the ball didn’t swish through the hoop. The final analysis….I’m so happy and joyful that we three Amigos, and lil’ Bit got to commune together and ‘armchair quarterback’ as the game unfolded! All-the-while while christening a brand-spankin’ new Samsung 75″ TV. It just don’t get better than this. We are Truly Blessed!
Have a wonderful day mis companeros!

Yes Sir Michael. An evening to remember. A great dinner and long visit at the Golden Phoenix. Then March Madness and watching your alma mater the UCLA Bruins play the Gonzaga Zags. We did not like the outcome but, as you said, it was a March Madness Classic. Your gigantic, 75-inch television was REALLY something special. An evening doesn’t get much better than this. Smiles ..
