If you’re in Maasai Mara National Park in Kenya, if you’re in Serengeti National Park in Tanzania, you don’t get out of your vehicle and go walking around amid the lions and the leopards. You stay in your Land Rover. You stay in your safari van, and you look out the windows or you look out the pop top at these animals. I know by experience how badly that can work out if you violate those guidelines.

As I write these words, it is Saturday, April the 1st 2023
aka April Fools Day.
Our good friends Tom and Ginny, sent us two amusing stories. Below is one of them. Tomorrow I’ll share the second one.

A man and his wife were awoken at 3:00 am by a loud pounding on the door. The man gets up and goes to the door where a drunken stranger, standing in the pouring rain, is asking for a push.
“Not a chance,” says the husband, “it is 3:00 in the morning!” He slams the door and returns to bed. “Who was that?” asked his wife.. “Just some drunk guy asking for a push,” he answers. “Did you help him?” she asks. “No, I did not, it is 3:00 in the morning and it is pouring rain out there!” “Well, you have a short memory,” says his wife. “Can’t you remember about three months ago when we broke down, and those two guys helped us? I think you should help him, and you should be ashamed of yourself!” The man does as he is told, gets dressed, and goes out into the pounding rain. He calls out into the dark, “Hello, are you still there?” “Yes,” comes back the answer. “Do you still need a push?” calls out the husband. “Yes, please!” comes the reply from the dark. “Where are you?” asks the husband. “Over here on the swing,” replied the drunk |

I should establish a new category “Oh Good God Captain” but I won’t do so. I already have categories : “Does Anyone Care”, “Who Cares Captain” and “Well I Care”.
Just yesterday (Friday March the 31st 2023) I posted two photos of a Blue Raspberry Froster that we enjoyed at our local (Lake Havasu City) Circle K Store on Hwy 95 coming into Lake Havasu City. Only God Our Creator, The Shadow, and Patti and I, know that we two enjoyed an Orange Creme Froster NOT a Blue Raspberry Froster that I showed in the photos. So I have gone back and replaced the Blue Raspberry Froster photos with those of an Orange Creme Froster.
Since not even one of you are going back to yesterday’s Post to see IF I made any changes ( aka : The “Yesterday’s Newspaper” that no one reads syndrome) below are the original and current photos.
Originally I posted the Blue Raspberry Froster photos below.
I have replaced the above photos with the below Orange Creme photos.
Now do you see why I wrote above : “Oh Good God Captain” I should establish that as a new category but I won’t do so. I already have categories : “Who Cares Captain” and “Well I Care”.
It would read in order : Oh Good God Captain .. Who Cares Captain .. Does Anyone Care .. Well I Care ..

Michael, Little Bit, Patti and I ended our day watching UCONN beat MIAMI in the second of the March Madness Final Four Games in Houston, Texas.
Time for bed (late April the 1st) before I drop.

What a wonderful trip to Africa 🌍 the leopards are beautiful! Orange Cream sounds delicious!! So, in theme with April fools day, “why are people so tired on April 1st?” Because they just did a 31-day March, ha! Love and hugs Ginikins 🥰
