MAY 20, 13 .. HONG KONG TO CHICAGO .. I AM ‘IN-THE-AIR’

As you look this post over .. I am in-the-air flying from Hong Kong to Chicago.  I will have left .. God and the Good Lord and all things willing at 1155 Hours (11:55AM) on Monday the 20th of May. I am ‘due-into’ Chicago O-Hare International Airport at 1350 Hours (1:50PM) still on Monday the 20th of May.

The flight will be 15+ hours (with a little give-or-take) according the the jet stream at the upper altitudes.  We will be going-with the jet stream so could make slightly better time than the 15+ hours predicted.

I WILL BE IN ..

the Lap-of-Luxury in Business Class.

I will ‘overnight’ in Chicago at Motel ‘6’ in Schiller Park and on Tuesday ‘grab’ the Alaska Airlines non-stop from Chicago NORTH TO ALASKA and Anchorage and Patti!

My last evening in Hong Kong was quiet.  Singapore Rice Noodles and good-byes at my restaurant.  I had the words .. “I am leaving tomorrow.” written out for me in Cantonese by a desk clerk here at the YMCA.  I then showed my ‘notice’ to those special people who I want to know I am leaving.  I do NOT just disappear on MY people.

Then I rode the ‘Solar Star’ Ferry to Hong Kong Central and back to Kowloon.  A McDonald’s McFlurry and now this quick post.

I hope to leave for the airport at 0700 Hours (7AM) in the morning to MAXIMIZE my time at the Business Class Lounge.

OK .. Over and Out until I am in Anchorage on Tuesday the 21st of May and I can get onto Patti’s computer and post some of the many photos I have taken here in Hong Kong.
