OCT 7, 23 .. TODAY’S GUEST CONTRIBUTOR IS .. OLGA IN CHITA

I sit down here at our Lenovo laptop “knowing” what I am going to write, and further, clearly knowing exactly and precisely just how I am going to “put this Post together”. Now we all find out what really came to pass.

Not quite what I had “planned”.

I quote Julia Cameron : “When we start to write, we prime the pump and the flow of ideas begins to move. It is the act of writing that calls ideas forth, not ideas that call forward writing.”

Patti and I just love the below beautiful “Refrigerator Magnet” that our great friend Olga gave to us when we were visiting Chita back in May of 2019.

Here it is in the palm of my hand.

Thank you so very, VERY, much for this precious gift Olga!

Oh by the way! During our visit to Chita, Olga was our translator! So we really spent a lot of high quality time together. She was a great “guide to the sights of Chita”.

By The Way, for those of you who are not fluent in Russian, in the above photo, Чита (Chita) is the name of the city where Olga lives. Chita (Чита) is 6305 kilometers  from Moscow (Москва) and 2860 kilometers from from Vladivostok (Владивосток ).

A BLAST FROM THE PAST

Now we have arrived at the point where I was originally going to begin this post!

I love it! For years now I have stated to one and to all that : “I am NOT, nor will I ever be, on Social Media!”

Then this past September the 30th I discovered that : Without realizing it, I HAVE BEEN a member of Social Media, without having a clue that I have been, for some years!

Meaning Patti and I keep in touch with not only Olga, but with all of our friends outside of the United States with WhatsApp, the third most popular Social Media Platform!

Finally we are where I intended to begin.

Just the other day, Olga sent Patti the below most beautiful message via email.

Olga went on to say that : I’m very happy to congratulate you on the international Teacher’s Day!

I admire you and consider myself blessed having you as a teacher of such a subject like -Wisdom-. Both you and Cap are profound TEACHERS of Patience and Optimism.

I hope that you stay at the TOP of AA teachers for a long time.
