ONE .. Saturday
That was pretty easy, and I wrote it while delousing my pet tapir.

Our friend and Ally Gullible has published Chapter 6 of her Brazil Journals. A fun read IF you want to learn about tapirs. She wrote .. “Had I been asked before this trip to liken the size of a South American tapir to any animal I knew, I would have guessed about the size of a large dog, say an Irish Setter or a German Shepard. An Irish Wolf Hound at the most.”

TWO.. Saturday..
Major League Baseball, The World Series.
Yes we watched it perfectly!
A Perfect Watch Captain? .. We, and not the baseball game, determined our timing to watch the game.
We first checked into the game after the 5th inning had been completed.
As you can see, it was a “tight game”. I told Patti, “Either I go to the store now and catch the end of the game and have tomorrow totally free!” or “I stay and watch the game knowing I then will have to go to the store tomorrow (Sunday the 29th), a day I want to just stay home in our condo.”
I went to the store and came back in time to see the 8th and 9th innings.
When I left to go to the store, the score was Arizona 2 – 1 Texas. A very close game.
The Arizona Diamondbacks BLEW THE GAME WIDE OPEN in the 7th, 8th and 9th innings.
VOILA !
Yesterday I wrote.. We spend a lot of time in Arizona so we are more for the Diamondbacks but we are NOT at all against the Texas Rangers.
Odd how our attitudes can change in a “heartbeat”.
I knew that Former President George W. Bush, at one time was a part owner of the Texas Rangers baseball team. So we ‘Googled” The Texas Rangers.
One. They have never, ever, won a World Series. They were in the World Series in 2010, 2011, and now 2023.
Two. This fact made me think, “How sad they have never won a World Series! Now I wouldn’t mind IF they do win the World Series!“
No I am not going to root for them but you get the idea!
Next Monday Game 3 in Phoenix, Arizona. Best of 5 series.

THREE.. TODAY
Sunday the 29th of October 29th 2023
We do not get to choose what games we see on television. Today we will NOT be watching a game.
Tomorrow, Monday the 30th we plan to watch “our” Detroit Lions play the Las Vegas Raiders on Monday Night Football. We have a lot of friends in Nevada who follow the Raiders.
BUT first, the World Series game is on.
So maybe, just maybe, we “may multi-task” a little and go back and forth between the games. This is not really a good situation but time and time alone will decide how multi-tasking the two games works out.
