JAN 31, 24 .. HOO BOY.. FOR WHAT IT’S WORTH..

A Little Bit of This ..

A Little Bit of That ..

Using the Kroger Stores Fuel Points program, 33.501 gallons of gasoline at our local Kroger Store cost us $51.56.

YOU do the math !!

$51.56 ÷ 33.501 gallons = $1.54 per gallon.

Without the fuel points, gasoline is ..

$3.089 per gallon

Loving being here in Lake Havasu City, Arizona.

A Little Bit of This ..

A nice ride on the ferry.

A visit to the Havasu Landing Casino.

Putting $20 into our friendly slot machines.

Hitting a nice $7.00 payout on the penny slot machines.

I put $20 in and came home with $15.02.

So a very pleasant afternoon cost me $4.98. Much better than last weeks trip that cost $13.44 BUT even this is not bad for a most pleasant few hours.

A Little Bit of That ..

Following the below screenshot.. I have posted a clear reading of the below message..

Butt Prints in the Sand

One night I had a wondrous dream,
One set of footprints there was seen.
The footprints of my precious Lord,
But mine were not along the shore.

But then some stranger prints appeared,
And I asked the Lord, “What have we here?”
Those prints are large and round and neat,
But Lord, they are too big for feet.

My child, He said in somber tones,
For miles I carried you alone.
I challenged you to walk in faith,
But you refused and made me wait.

You disobeyed, you would not grow,
The walk of faith, you would not know.
So I got tired, I got fed up,
And there I dropped you, on your butt.

Because in life, there comes a time,
When men must fight and men must climb.
When men must rise and take a stand,
Or leave their butt prints in the sand.

Just in case some of you have forgotten, Jesus could, and did, show anger.

Matthew 21:12-13
New International Version
Jesus at the Temple
12 Jesus entered the temple courts and drove out all who were buying and selling there. He overturned the tables of the money changers and the benches of those selling doves. 13 “It is written,” he said to them, “‘My house will be called a house of prayer,” but you are making it ‘a den of robbers.”

Wow Robert. Here in Lake Havasu City, Arizona, it seems like 90% of the people are “former” Californians! Without exception they comment on the high cost of living in California. So even the “going rate” of $3.089 a gallon looks good to you correct? Then with the Kroger’s fuel points that translates DOWN to (recently) $1.539 a gallon which must seem “unreal” to you at $4.29 a gallon. Thanks for following here on dotnet. Smiles .. Cap
