FEB 11, 24 .. ANOTHER “SUPER BOWL” SUNDAY AND YES THE GAME..

February the 11th, 2024

This mere football game has gone past the game itself. Thus Super Bowl Sunday
encompasses not only the game, but all of the parties and “Hoopla” that
accompany the game.

As many of you may know, I personally am not willing to allow the results of a sporting event to affect how I am feeling.
If I feel that the end result of a game will affect me negatively, I just won’t watch it.

Radical? Could be, but for the same reasons I do not read newspapers nor do I follow the television and internet news (at least to the extent I can avoid it, which is basically impossible) because of all the negatively in the world today. I don’t want, I don’t need to get upset over things I am powerless over.

I know. More mind wandering.

THE SUPER BOWL

The Kansas Chiefs will play the San Francisco 49ers in today’s game. Having lived in San Francisco for 33 years, of course I want “My 49ers” to win.

BUT, as I sit here, IF the Kansas City Chiefs win, so be it. Thus Patti and I are going to watch the game and enjoy just being together. Yes we have been invited to join others in sober Super Bowl Parties but choose not to get into all they entail. Too much energy for us.

So we hope all of you have a great day today, and this football game will not upset nor disappoint you.

I ran into some issues with our website so I have typed the above words into an email I will now send it to my Webmaster Andrej, who will paste these words into, and then publish, this Post.

In a few hours I may be able to again access my own website and then may make some changes.
