Monday, February 12th, 2024 – MAYO CLINIC
Today we begin a round of Mayo Clinic appointments that will run through this Thursday the 15th of February.
All of them, more or less, are routine annual visits. I will have a procedure (Endoscopy) on Thursday.
We don’t plan to do daily reports unless something very serious arises from our routine appointments.

Long Pause ..
After the Super Bowl game was over, and because I was VERY “tense”, I told Patti .. “I did not enjoy the time we spent watching the game.”
You need to know that, with the 49ers leading 10 – 3 at halftime, even though “All Was Well”, I had to lay down and sleep during the halftime program. Was I tense then? Was I still tired from getting to Phoenix last Friday? I can’t answer!
Today’s Rhetorical Question : IF the San Francisco 49ers had won the game, would I have said .. “I did not enjoy the time we spent watching the game.”
We’ll never know. No! Not even The Shadow Will Ever Know!
In Overtime, the Kansas City Chiefs beat the San Francisco 49ers.
Make no mistake. In my opinion, The Kansas City Chiefs WON the game. The San Francisco 49ers DID NOT LOSE the game.
We will all see you, The 2024 National Football League Season, that begins on my birthday, September the 5th, 2024!

Off and on, during my current streak of days that I have published a Post each day, I have, over and over and over again, emphasized the fact that there is a certain amount of luck involved. Yes, today and yesterday, I have been able to publish a Post here on dotnet BUT the “Internet High Tech Gods” and the Firm that hosts our website, have played some real havoc! Only with my webmaster Andrej’s assistance, have I been able to get these Post published.
Yesterdays Post, FEB 11, 24, I had to write the words and then send them to Andrej in an email. Andrej then inserted my email into the Post.
This Post today FEB 12, 24, has been nothing short of a “nightmare” to get published for a slew of High Tech Issues that Andrej has done his very best to get sorted out for me.

What is there to say. I hope Patti, at least, enjoyed watching the game. I thought it boring in the first half but then watched KC come alive and win. I did not watch the half-time show. Crotch-grabbing musicians are not my idea of entertainment, so I avoided it.
The half time show. I lay down and took a 20 minute nap. Patti watched it and enjoyed the dancing. Smiles .. Cap and Patti
Hi Cap, I am not sure I enjoyed the game either. We have a great team but KC was better. One of the broadcasters said “too much Patrick Mahomes – the 49ers didn’t lose it, Mahomes won it.” Mahomes had the most running yards on his team. I think the loss was a bit harder to take because of the missed PAT leading to a tie game. Ah well, we have some great, young players. And it was a fun season (other than the 3 game losing streak.) On to next year.
Good luck with all the Mayo appts. Having been through their system when the IRS had me stationed in Rochester MN, I was very impressed with their efficiency. And very much appreciated all the underground tunnels loaded with shops and restaurants between the buildings during the winter.
Kathleen “Our” 49ers were 100% “In” this game! 3 – 0 then 10 – 0 then just at the end of the half 10 – 3. We won the 1st half. Kansas City made some adjustments and evened it up for OVERTIME. OVERIME Kathleen. Then “We” won the coin toss in overtime and marched down the field and kicked a field goal to go “up” by 3 points. Never forget Kansas City had to take a penalty that allowed “Our” 49ers to continue their drive at the beginning of overtime. Kansas City then sat 75 yards away. By gosh “Our” 49ers COULD NOT STOP their game winning drive! Bottom Line .. It was a tense experience for me personally. NOT a sad one. Just a stressful one AND at my stage of life I don’t want and I don’t need tension and stress from a sporting event. Smiling .. Cap
