Shazam.. Just look at what happened!
When I sat down here I had NO IDEA that Gullible had published a new Post.
So I began with Cats..
And then I continued on to Cake..
Then Patti called out to me from our bedroom..
“Cap!! Gullible has published a new Post!!”
Shazam! I stopped with the Cats and Cake and looked at what Gullible had published!!

March 27th.. I mentioned to Cap last night that today would be “Earthquake Day.” I can recollect and feel that day in 1964 all over again in detail every time I think about it. From my apartment very near downtown Anchorage, I remember the rumble, then the violent shaking that seemed to go on and on. I really thought perhaps we had been attacked.. or maybe we had collided with another planet. When the second round of shaking began I had just started to go check on a very pregnant friend and neighbor and had to drop to the ground and crawl to her door. That began some very chaotic days and weeks to follow. March 27, 1964.. Earthquake Day. Looking forward to your posts about this Gullible. Patti and Cap

March the 28th is National Black Forest Cake Day.
If there’s one thing that we are absolute suckers for at National Today, it is a black forest cake.
You bet we are super excited when we get to celebrate National Black Forest Cake Day.
First of all, the absolute beauty of the cake itself deserves its own accolades.
There are many conflicting historical reports about the exact origins of the Black Forest Cake.
Historical scholars believe that the cake was invented in the 16th century in a German town called Baden-Wurttemberg.
