As I did yesterday, I let Patti study NATIONAL TODAY’S website for April 19th Holidays that we can relate too.
Patti picked two Holidays that adjoined one another..

A pleasant sounding Holiday..

HUMOROUS DAY..
Humorous Day is celebrated on April 19th.
The origins of this holiday are largely unknown but it has been attributed to The Carmel Institute of Humor’s director Larry Wilde, who first declared April to be Humor Month in 1976.
It is a day dedicated to finding humor in whatever situation comes our way, no matter how difficult. It is a day that encourages us to look on the bright side of life.
Humor has many benefits and plays an important role in our overall health.
Laughter has also been shown to improve heart health by boosting the heart rate while simultaneously lowering blood pressure. Natural ‘painkillers’ are produced by your body when you laugh.

Patti picked the below Holiday for me ! I used to love and memorize poems especially those written by Robert Service!

Poetry And The Creative Mind Day takes place every year on April 19th.
Whether it be songs, haikus, limericks, sonnets, elegies, or epics, poetry has the power to affect even the hardest hearts and is an example of how far human creativity and expression can stretch beyond its limits.
Poetry plays a major role in every culture because of its ability to deliver stories, ideas, viewpoints, and other valuable information in an impactful manner. Poems have been used as tools of revolution, dissidence, and love. Various regimes across history have been challenged and toppled as a result of public reawakening through poetry.
Every form of art is poetry.
Song lyrics are considered poetry in itself as not only do they rhyme, but are an expression of one’s deepest emotions and thoughts. Painting and cinema are forms of visual poetry that convey meaning through their images, methods, and depth. Today, there exists an amalgam of poetic forms and structures, including haikus, sonnets, acrostics, concrete, limericks, songs, jokes, epics, and many others. Poetry And The Creative Mind Day celebrates the creative mind in general, honoring everyone who takes part in an art form, and the spirit of putting this mind into practice.
You all know the drill..

- APR 18, 26 (1 / 2).. HUSBANDS DAY.. JUGGLERS.. ANIMAL CRACKERS.. GULLIBLE..
- APR 20, 26.. CAPTAIN !!.. BLOGSPOT POST.. CHINESE LANGUAGE..and GULLIBLE..

Maybe they meant “humerus” and not humorous. Both of mine hurt.
The humerus is the long bone located in the upper arm, extending from the shoulder to the elbow, and is essential for arm movement, rotation, and stability. That being said what do you mean .. Both of mine hurt?? Cap and Patti
The ends of both of my humeri hurt. Bad shoulders.
I was making an attempt to be humorous about my humerus. Laid a bomb instead.
Too.. Too funny Gullible .. Big Smiles.. Cap and Patti 🤗
Apparently (I say apparently because I did not verify it), Chinese characters have been simplified to make them easier to read and write. A Chinese guide demonstrated the differences between some old and new characters, saying she did not like the new ones because they eliminated many of the nuances contained in the traditional characters. A simple stroke, or part of a stroke had meaning, inflections, nuances.
Funny story: She spoke English very well. In an initial meeting, she spoke of where we were going and imparted information about the areas, At one place, she said, many people have been sickened by diseases borne by tiny bats that one could barely see. Well, that got our attention!
Near the end the trip, one woman asked her when we would be in the area where the tiny bats were. The guide said, “Bats? With a puzzled look on her face, she considered the question. “Oh, bugs! Not bats!”
SO, this got posted under the wrong post. It’s the next post where it should be.
It is an easy thing for a comment to be entered under the wrong Post Gullible. No Worries.
While in Hong Kong one of the workers was a lady with a young, school age, daughter. Patti and I would watch the little girl just “Intensely” be doing her school work. Oh all those symbols! Amazing. To say “You only need to know 20,000 symbols” to be able to read and write is amazing. Cap and Patti
