MAY 21, 23 .. MORE MOTHER’S DAY FUN ..
Last Sunday, May 14th, 2023, not today, was Mother’s Day. Never ever in her life had Patti been the recipient of the Kudos given to Mother’s on Mother’s Day. So I made Patti the center of Mother’s Day in 2023. I also gave Patti Mother’s Day Kudos with a special post.
Last Sunday, ON Mother’s Day, I would have liked to have enjoyed a Mother’s Day Breakfast with Patti at our local IHOP. The problem was simple : ON Mother’s Day, the restaurants are crowded. Further, Patti was still experiencing Covid symptoms so going out to a crowded restaurant was ruled out. Pure and simple, it would NOT have been any fun.

Amazing! Stunning! The Denver Nuggets beat the Los Angeles Lakers IN Los Angeles 119 – 108 to take a 3 games to 0 lead in the best of 7 Western Conference Finals. Every single one of the broadcast crew, all of the pundits, along with myself and Michael in Lake Havasu City, picked the Lakers to win this important game 3 and further to-win-it-big. It didn’t happen. Denver came out strong from the get-go and stayed focused on winning. The game was a lot closer than the final score indicates! At the end of the third quarter, it was Denver 84 – 82 Los Angeles.
Today is Sunday May the 21st. The Boston Celtics, trailing 2 games to 0, now play IN Miami.

On a very personal note, my Mother was born with her twin sister, on May 21st 1907 in London, Ontario, Canada. Happy Birthday Cake Mom! She passed away December the 6th 1984.
