NOV 12, 25.. AN AMAZING VETERANS DAY..
Tuesday, November the 11th, 2025 was..
VETERANS DAY 2025..
Patti and I had no plans. None whatsoever.
Then suddenly, in a spur-of-the moment decision, I decided to accompany our good friend and neighbor Eddie..
On a trip over to Havasu Landing Casino.
Patti opted not to join us.
Keep in mind that only yesterday..
I had visited The Havasu Landing Casino with Eddie. Never ever, have I made the trip on consecutive days. Almost never ever have I made the trip twice in the same week.
So don’t ask me why, but off Eddie and I went, back across Lake Havasu over to the Casino.
Being Veterans Day I thought there might be a crowd. Not the case. The boat was almost empty.
And now a “Magic Veterans Day” at the Havasu Landing Casino began.
We arrived. Got off the boat and entered the Casino.
I stopped at the Service Desk to say hello to an employee I have gotten to know.
He said.. “You are a Veteran. Here is a special, Havasu Landing Cap for you Cap on Veterans day!”
I really like my Havasu Landing gift.
Then he said, “As a Veteran, you are entitled to receive a $20 voucher good for a meal in our Casino Dining Room!”
Oh My.. Oh My.. Will you all just look at my outstanding, absolutely delicious Cobb Salad with Chicken! It was so large that I took about two cups home to Patti who enjoyed it for dinner.
Suddenly it was time to catch the Ferry back across the Lake.
As I walked past Rocky and Wonder Woman..
I said to myself, “I have ten minutes before I go outside to catch the Ferry Boat. With all of the luck so far this afternoon, I think I will take a few spins with Rocky!”
I played $10. I lost $9.52!
Smiling!! Rocky “Acting Up” and taking my $10 did not diminish my visit at all.

Today, November the 12th, 2025, I will have my tenth (10th), Age-Related Wet Macular Degeneration (AMD), eye injection. My previous AMD eye injection was last August the 19th, a little under three months ago.
